Update:

Philip, K9PL, advises that the Telegraph is published monthly and all back issues are available to subscribers upon request (don't forget, it's FREE!) You can get them here!

Home of the K9YA Telegraph:

If you are into CW or just love old Ham Radio stories, above it a great download for you!  However you must subscribe to it, but it is FREE.  They come out with issues every so often, then send out a reminder it is ready for you to download.  I have a folder for CW and save these to it.  Every once in a while they will let you download past issues, usually during Christmas, etc.

In almost every issue is one of those lifetime articles you wish everyone could see!  Anyway good stuff and again it is FREE!

Sept.10th & 11th 2010

Friday and Saturday

Come enjoy the beauty of Rich Mountain with family and friends. Forty one years ago a number of guys on 75 meters decided to come to this place to do just that. Y’all come enjoy the mountain, fellowship, and let’s get acquainted. Just 13 miles west of Mena, Arkansas, on Hwy 88, Queen Wilhelmina State Park sits at an elevation of 2500ft on Rich Mt.

Learn More About ARES

Like other modern wireless technologies, Amateur Radio has come a long way from its beginnings.  Today’s amateurs are expanding their voice and digital networks, using satellites and TV, developing hybrid applications of radio-internet and GPS location systems, long-range WiFi types of systems and more.  Hams are the consummate “DO-ers” not just “USE-ers” of technology.

OK - I think we have almost all of the original content from the old web page implemented in the new one. If there's something I missed that you'd like to see back, please use the contact page to let me know and I'll see about restoring it.

If someone could get me the meeting minutes and treasurer reports for 2010 in PLAIN TEXT format I'll get them posted.

If anyone has any news or weather related information, links, stories etc. I'd love to hear from you. I'm always looking for more content.

If I'm ever in town for a meeting, I'd like to recommend moving our domain (fsaarc.org) to a new host, as I was never able to get good performance on Joomla from the GoDaddy page. It's up for renewal in about 6 months and I can manager it much easier from my host.

Anyway, thanks for bearing with me through the transition, and special thanks to all of you who provided feedback along the way - couldn't have done it without you.

Thanks & 73,

Jim Scott, AD5YU
